CISCE New Guidelines for Specially Needed Students

“For the past few years, it was common to provide relaxations and benefits to students with benchmark disabilities covered by the PwD Act 2016. However, considering the changing scenario of education needs and the limitations of relying solely on the disability classification in the Act, CISCE has taken a significant decision to broaden the scope of the guidelines to include disability conditions not covered under the specified benchmark disability status and education needs associated with Borderline Intellectual Functioning (BIF),” CISCE said. “
